If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file. Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
When I to to Federal taxes>other return info>id protection pin, it ask if I had a id stolen problem . The answer is NO. When I type the my 6 digit IP Pin number, it takes all 6 digits. But for my spouse, it will take ONLY 5 digits. Is this right?
