Are you saying that the reviewed entries are now gone? Or you are no longer able to view the entries? When you print or view the tax return, are the transactions reported?
Please clarify.
Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?
Hi James,
I'm using TurboTax Online Premium (via Fidelity offer).
Here is what I did.
I imported the PDF version of one 1099-B (after the import from Fidelity didn't work right).
There are about 291 entries.
I reviewed the first 200 entries.
I moved to the group containing the remaining 91.
I see at the top of that page that it thinks there are 91 left to review.
However, the table that should be showing the 91 entries is empty and says: You currently don't have any sales on this page
After the import I checked to see that all entries were available before reviewing. They were.
It seems that reviewing transaction range 1 - 200 breaks transaction range 201 - 291.
I did some experiments after importing the PDF again.
It seems that reviewing an item on the last page of transaction range 1-200 breaks range 201-291.
I'm unable to finish reviewing that 1099-B and expect to have the same problem with another 1099-B that has a total of 789 transactions.
Thank you for responding!
I haven't tried to print or view my taxes because I haven't finished reviewing the items in the income section.
Therefore, I haven't finished the rest of the Federal and State returns.
@JamesG1 I have the exact same issue as @tt-prewar013 , i reviewed the first 200 without issue -- as in, transaction ranges 1-100 & 101-200 reviewed successfully. Once I click "Review" on the 201- 259 range (what i have left) it loads the page and lists: "Hey! You have 59 items that need review" and below where the transactions should be for review, it's just a grey box with the text "You currently don't have any sales on this page"
I tried the "Add another sale" button to test, and the number iterated to 60 items, but I still see no transactions listed. I'm similarly unable to proceed with completing my filing.
I am using TurboTax Premier 2024, and used the automated import from Morgan Stanley (versus PDF import from Fidelity, but same problem either way).
I found a solution, but this is definitely a bug that TurboTax should fix.
When in the screen where you are viewing your Transaction ranges, click View in top menu bar, then Forms. This will open the 1099-B worksheet.
On the left side-bar there will be Cap Asset Sales (1), etc and it will mark which is not done.
You can open these forms and enter the details, I started doing this and then hit Close Form (until all forms were closed) to check progress, and when it sent me back to step-by-step, I was able to Review and see the transactions for what was previously missing in UI and edit as normal.
What do you think was going on? It sounds like the download had been interrupted.
Did you re-enter all of the data? Or do you think that the download was re-started with the View / Forms command?
All the data was there, nothing missing, just has to update/verify entries in form rather than in the standard UI, at least updated a few and then went back and it worked. Unsure what was going on exactly to cause this.
