I have a 1099-PATR form and am self employed and is for a business building we own.

I have a 1099-PATR form and am self employed. This is for oil purchased from a Coop for the business building that we own and I use in my business. Where do I put this on my taxes or do I even need to include it ? I wasn't quite sure from some of the other replies.  Thank you so much.

Yes, you will need to record the income from the 1099-PATR form on your income tax return.

" If your 1099-PATR isn't for farm or co-op dividends, it gets entered as general business income:"

Thank you for the quick response.  That was the part that confused me,  it IS  COOP dividends so does it still get entered into the General Business Income area ?  Thank you so much for your time.  🙂

Then you would report it with coop dividends as in the first set of instructions above.  I added a sample screenshot to the answer above.

Okay, I tried that multiple times and it's only giving me the farm section and I have no farm. I am not getting that screen option at all. Sorry! I know I'm dense.  😉

You are correct that the option noted above is for farm income. If you do not have a farm, then just go ahead and enter it under General Business Income.  Sorry, I misunderstood your previous comment and led you to the farm section.
