I have a 1099 MISC from my Americorps Education Award I used. This isn't self employment, how do I report it on Turbo Tax?

I have $1800+ that I used from my Americorps Education Award. I got sent a 1099-MISC, but when I try to input it, it keeps putting it under self-employment which isn't the case. Please advise!

That income is not self-employment. Please see Barb's detailed answer to get your 1099-misc reported as ordinary income and not self-employment income. Take note of the last paragraph to make sure you get any education credits due you. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5234727
