I have 4 1099-r from TIA CREF for the same person. They are from a different account for each, do I file them separately or can I add them together and add them once?

Enter them each separately in TurboTax.  Just to be safe.

Best way to track them should some have different codes or income tax withheld.

On the tax return, it will show as one total amount.  So you can enter as one if the distribution code in Box 7 is the same.
