I had United way deducted from payroll. Does my W2 already reflect that or should I add United way as a charitable deduction?

Usually, you can add it as a charitable donation.  Even though it is a payroll deduction, it is rare that it is take with pre-tax dollars.  However, you may want to confirm that with your employer.
