Mt tax guy has not answered me and the deadline is approaching. Is it okay to get an extension and maybe still submit my taxes before midnight?

I get all the way through my return and go to “select payment method” and no matter the device, it keeps me on the loading screen. Been dealing with this for weeks.

This seems to be a systemic issue this am ... if clearing your cookies or using a different browser doesn't fix it then try again later in the day.

Why do I have Payment error? Whoops we hit a snag loading your data. Please try again. All info is correct, why is this happening
