I must file by paper (identity fraud a few years back).
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
The return won't actually be rejected, but it will be subject to additional screening/processing and any refund will be delayed.

Make sure that when you do e-file that you include your IP-PIN next to your "SIGN HERE" section on your 1040. It will show up there "automatically" when you add it to your return under FEDERAL TAXES / Other Tax Situations. Thanks for the advice on "NOT" sending a New Return if you forget your pin the first time. Know one needs any extra "FLAGS" when filing your taxes …. ride out the storm or call IRS to check the status. Just make sure that your filing late …. that you e-file before October 15th as that is the cut-off date for ALL e-filing. After that date is all PAPER again.
