I filed my taxes on turbotax, and they were rejected. Is it too late to go through another agency other than turbotax where I can work with someone in person?

No, it's not too late.  A rejected return is the same thing as having never filed your return.  So, you are free to abandon your TurboTax return and work with someone in person.  Just make sure you tell whomever you go to why your return was rejected so they can best assist you.
