I filed an extension for my 2018 Federal taxes through Turbo Tax but didn’t file my Louisiana extension which is due tomorrow. How do I handle this now? Thanks. Barbara

Louisiana (LA) – The filing deadline is May 15. Filing an extension moves the deadline to November 15. Extensions must be e-filed at the Online Individual Income Tax Extension Filing site or by calling their automated number (225) 922-3270 or (888) 829-3071. If you owe them taxes, submit payment by May 15 to avoid penalties. You can either include a check with Form R2868V or pay online at their Individual Income Online Tax Filing site.
