If you were paid in cash or if you received a 1099-NEC, then as far as the IRS is concerned, that's self-employment income. There are some exceptions. Did you receive a 1099-NEC? If so, what was the money reported on the 1099-NEC paid to you for?

Or if it doesn't let you clear and you haven't paid and filed you could just start a new account. Online is only good for 1 return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version
If you want to use a lower version without losing your entries, one thing you can do is move your Online file to a lower Desktop program and continue without paying for Online or needing to reenter your info. All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions. Plus the Desktop programs have several more features over online....
