Unless you specifically applied for a separate employer identification number (EIN) for your business then the employer identification number is the same as your social security number.  However, a lot of people do set up their businesses as a distinctly different legal entity from themselves.  In this case, the EIN will be a different number and should be in their business papers. You have to apply for an EIN number from the IRS, but this can be done online.
