I don't have enough room to install TurboTax. I tried to install it on a thumb drive and got an error message regarding space. Does anyone know a workaround?

I have a brand new CPU; however, it only has 1.7 GB free. I wanted to use my external drive; however, TT won't allow it. Is there a way to tell TT to utilize the external drive?

Are you on Win or Mac?  How big is your local drive to begin with?  If it's a new computer what consumed all the space - if you only have 1.7gb free space inbox on your local drive you'll have bigger problems than turbotax.  You need to figure out what is consuming all the space on your hard drive and free it up.  See if you have data you can move to the external hard drive (pictures etc) then have space to install apps on the internal drive.  If the space is being consumed by system files then the resolution may depend whether it's Win or Mac.
