Ultimately that will not be okay as it may affect the e-file process. You can enter "Expenses for W2 income" before entering "W2 income" but in the end you will need to clear that if you don't have W2 income.
You can delete the form 2106 which should clear that amount.
To delete a form:
- Use the "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
- Click "Tools"
- "Delete a Form"
- Find the form 2106
- "Delete"
- Confirm "Deletion"
