i do not want to claim the california earned income tax credit but i keep getting sent back to fill it out when i run a review. How do i remove this all together?

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. If you don't want to claim the Earned Income Credit, you will need to remove it on your federal return.

To get back to this on your return:

Open your return
Go to the Deductions & Credits section
Under You and Your Family, select Revisit for the Earned Income Credit

What are the qualifications for the Earned Income Credit (EIC or EITC)?

Why is it that during the review, it shows $0 for form 4684 (natural disaster), even though I entered $3350? Everything is entered correctly. This is for 2024.
