I think I now glimpse what is going on.  TurboTax may be trying to fill in OK Form 538-H "Claim for Credit or Refund of Property Tax" (https://www.ok.gov/tax/documents/538-H-16.pdf) and appears to have skipped the check on whether you were a full year OK resident.  Later in that form they add up total gross income, including the full social security payments.  I would first go back to the Personal Info section and see if somewhere there OK was mistakenly flagged as a part/full year resident.  If that doesn't work, you may be able to "fudge" the property tax entry to show a different state, I'd put TX, where the property tax was paid.  In the unlikely event that the IRS questions, you answer simply that you had to work around a TurboTax issue and that the property tax figure was correct.

That said,  if you had actual OK income and had to file as a non-resident, get back to me and I'll dig some more.

I agree that the message is less than informative.  Were you a full-year OK resident?  Are you or your spouse 65 or older or totally disabled?

Ummm ... didn't realize you think I and the other folks in this forum are Intuit Corp. employees.  We are regular folks who are willing to share their experience and expertise with taxes in general and our experience with TurboTax.  We have no access to your return, which is a good thing!  You will need to contact TurboTax customer support (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/">https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/</a>) in order to contact someone who can access your return to modify it for you.

My expectation is that they will go ahead and walk you through e-filing just your federal return, skipping or deleting any state return.  I will, in the meantime, ping some internal Intuit folks to see about fixing TurboTax to handle your situation correctly and informatively.

One update: my TurboTax connection asks if you could take a screen shot of the screen where the message appears and attach it here.  (On Windows, a screen shot is done by pressing the Shift and "Print Screen" button simultaneously, going to the start menu to find and open the venerable "Paint" accessory, then pasting (ctrl-v) into Paint and saving as a jpeg image file.  You can then "Contribute an answer" here and use the "Attach files" link to add that jpeg file.
