I did not enter bank information in the IRS free file 1040 form. Does this mean my refund will be sent via check?
I thought the free file form would save the bank account info from year to year, but that is no the case. There are lots of threads about entering the wrong banking information, but none about omitting it entirely.

Yes, if the IRS does not have Direct deposit authorization and banking information on your 1040, they will mail you a refund check.
