I deducted $2400 in state taxes in 2017 tax form.. I received a refund from AZ of $1,286. TurboTax changes my total refund to $2572. Why this greater amount?

Looks like 1099G was entered twice and if so delete one.

Delete a Form in on-line
A.     Go to Tools in left side of screen and click on Tools
B.    A box titled: Tool Center will open and below the 3 boxes is: Other helpful Links…
C.    Click on the 3rdt one: Delete a Form
D.    Go to Form you need to delete and click on it and confirm

Did you apply part of refund to 2018 AZ return?

Looks like the actual refund has been doubled.  TurboTax probably pre-populated your refund of $1286.  Did you perhaps enter it a second time?  Sorry to butt in, @TurboTaxMichaelL1.  😉
