I closed my business just by stopping operations in 2019. What version of turbotax should I use in 2020?

You'll need to use the same version you used last year. That's because you need to report the sale, closure or other disposition of your business to the IRS. Assuming you closed a SCH C business, you'll use the online self-employed version or the Cd/Desktop Home & Business version to file a "final" SCH C to report your disposition of the businses. It does not matter if the business had no income either. If the IRS doesn't get a final SCH C reporting the disposition of the business, it will catch up to you about 24-36 months down the road with an audit.

I marked the box that said "I completely closed this business in 2019." does that signify a final Schedule C was filed?

There's no indicator on Schedule C about closing a business.

You sell or other wise dispose of inventory and other assets and that's it.

Based on what you said, I see nothing for you to do for 2020 return.
