I filed my taxes last year using Turbotax 2024. I have tried opening both the 2024 software and the saved document that was filed electronically last year. I have not been able to open either of these. After starting to work on my 2025 taxes with the expectation of importing last years data I get a message from Turbotax stating the 2024 data cannot be accessed due to corrupted files. I need that data for accurate tax reporting.
When I try to open either the software or tax document from 2024 Turbotax will not allow me to open them with the code shown in the form **** **** **** CRMG. I get the message "The license code you entered is not valid. Error Code 605". I found the code listed on my online account but after entering it the program doesn't open and I get the message "It's 16 characters long and came with your instructions".
I have no idea what to do to access the needed files. Thank you.

TurboTax error code 605 indicates an invalid or canceled license code, often occurring when the code is used on too many computers (limit is five), entered incorrectly, or linked to a different account. It can also occur if the software was purchased from an unauthorized reseller.
Are you able to Sign In to your Intuit account and download a fresh copy of 2024 from the Products/Downloads link? If your 2024 program doesn't appear in a tile there, you may have two accounts. If your 2024 program is there for a fresh download, uninstall the one currently on your computer first.
