I am worried that an employer I worked for in the past year does not have a W2 form for me. How do I move forward?

I have called the company and left multiple messages with multiple people over the last two days and can't get a straight answer. No one can even tell me if they have a W2 under my name. So far I can't even get a call back. I also know that companies have until tomorrow to send a W2 form to previous or current employees. I'm wondering if I should call the IRS considering this employer also taxed most of my paychecks incorrectly as well, and I am not the only one. I need advice on how to move forward and how I can file my taxes without acting rashly and being forced to call the dreaded IRS. Please help.

Don't worry; this happens a fair amount. Please see the IRS website at https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/missing-form-w2-irs-can-help

Without a W-2, the IRS doesn't want you to file until at least mid-February anyway.
