I am using TT Premier. As I was ready to file and a note flashed that I would be better taking the standard deduction. The long form is filled out. What do I do now?

I went through the whole process of filling out the 1040 as the return was being checked a note flashed that I would be better just taking the standard deduction of $13,500. So I don't know what to do from here, because the return is checked and ready to file. Did the TT program just automatically substitute the standard deduction into my return>

Yes, TurboTax automatically carries the higher of the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions to your Form 1040.
