I am trying to enter a taxable amount of scholarship income for wages from a Fulbright Scholarship. The directions from the AI do not match Turbo Tax Program.

AI directions are as follows To add Fulbright scholarship income in TurboTax, follow these steps: Navigate to Income Section: Go to the "Wages & Income" section of TurboTax. Select "Other Income": Look for the option to report "Other Income" or "Scholarship and Fellowship Grants." Enter the Amount: Input the amount of the Fulbright scholarship that is considered taxable income. Provide Details: You may need to provide additional details about the scholarship, including the purpose and any related expenses. When I go to wages, it does not allow me to move forward if I say I do not have a W-2. It just moves onto the next section. There is not section called Other Income. All categories in Micellaneous Income require a federal document form which I do not have. I need to report the income in wages and type SCH in the margins of wages per IRS

Two options:

1. If you are entering a 1098-T, you can add in the scholarship income.

1. Here's your Education Summary screen
2. Locate Scholarships/ Grants/ Fellowships. 
3. Select edit 

2. Other income. Follow these steps:

1. Log into your return
2. Go to Federal
3. Click on Income
4. Scroll to the bottom section,  Less Common Income
5. Select Miscellaneous income, 1099-A, 1099-C, start
6. Select Other income not already reported on a W2 or 1099, start/edit
7. Other wages? Yes, continue
8. continue, continue
9. Other Earned Income, yes, continue
10. Source? other, continue
