It depends. To get out of this question, you can try clicking on Federal in the left menu. But, the filing status is fundamental to completing the return and must be addressed.
If you are an adult preparing the return for a child, then there could be questions pertaining to Kiddie Tax. There were retroactive to 2018 tax law changes to this, reported on Form 8615, due to the SECURE Act.

If you are a person claimed as a dependent on someone else's return, then during the My Info interview, be sure to indicate that you can be claimed by someone else and you will (or won't) be claimed as a dependent). The Kiddie Tax information resources listed above may still apply to you.
I am unsure also. I'm preparing the return for myself and I am over 18, but I'm not preparing the return for a child. So I'm a bit confused on this myself.
Nevermind, I realized I had a typo on my birthdate. After I corrected it, I was able to proceed.
