Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099 under
Federal Taxes on the left side or top
Wages and Income
Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit button
Are you using the Desktop program? Some people are having trouble entering into box 5. See if this helps.
Are you running the TurboTax application as an Administrator? If not -
Save the tax return.
Close the TurboTax program
Right click on the TurboTax icon on your computer screen
Click on Run as Administrator
Start the TurboTax program and see if the problem persists
One person said......
Did that. Same thing happened. But then... I accidentally double-clicked the box. And it opened up a small windows that let me fix it. Then the same thing happened with the Part B premium box. Double-clicking fixed that.
or if you see a 0 in a box try clicking or double clicking on it. If you can't enter your Social Security in the boxes try deleting the form. See this thread for things to try. There are posts for 2023 at the end
