I am having trouble locating where I can input my $250 teacher deduction. Is not an option when filing a standard deduction?

You are still able to deduct the $250 educator expenses when you use the standard deduction.

• Under Federal Taxes, click on Deductions & Credits.  
• Scroll down to Covering more tax breaks and click on Skip to see all tax breaks >
• Scroll to Employment Expenses and click on Show more
• The first choice is Teacher (Educator) Expenses - click on Start
