It is only wages if you submit payroll taxes on the amount and issue yourself a W-2. Otherwise, you payments are just shareholder's draw.

If you are not taking wages, take note that the IRS expects "shareholder employees" to take a reasonable salary(wages) when they operate as an s-corp. If your S-Corp is profitable I would suggest you look in to setting up a payroll for yourself.
