I am a green card holder moving to Germany

I see that there is a DTT  agreement between the USA and Germany. I will leave the USA mid-year and start working in Germany for part of the year. Since my income is taxed here in the USA until I leave will I be taxed again at the end of the financial year in Germany?

Yes, according to Article 15 of the Double Taxation Treaty DTT, the income that you earn in Germany will be taxed by Germany.  However you will not be taxed by Germany on the income earned while you lived in the United States.
