I already filed for my daughter, but the bank is telling her that the account number isnt right. She added the 4 digit check # at the end. Will her refund still go through? Her finacees did and they have a joint account and i did his as well.

I already filed for my daughter, but the bank is telling her that the account number isnt right. She added the 4 digit check # at the end. Will her refund still go through? Her finacees did and they have a joint account and i did his as well.

She should've only entered her account and routing number, not the 4 digit check number. Since her account number is not correct on her return her bank will reject the refund and the IRS will now send her refund by check which takes 2-4 weeks to receive.
