I'm married but we have been separated for 4 yrears. how do I file as?

I'm married but we have been separated for the last 4 years. We are divorcin soon. Do I still have to file married even if turbo tax HD me down s head of household/single?

Head of Household is not the same as Single.  You should not be Single.  You should be either be  MFS Married Filing Separately or Head of Household if you have a qualifying dependent.

@SweetieJean It changed on its own when I filed the last 2 yrs. In 2014 it gave me head of household. And last year it was changed to married filing separate. But when I did the automatic fill in yeaterday for this year it put head of household, single. That's why I'm confused.
