If I buy Turbo Tax 2016 for Home and Business, can I load the program on both my desktop and my laptop?

I wonder if OP thinks "Home" and "Business" are two separate modules.

You can install TurboTax Home & Businses 2016 on any and all computers that you own.

HOWEVER .... it you are going to try to work on the same return on both computers you must move the tax file back and forth on a removable medium like a thumb drive and always use the most current file... this can be very tricky so make sure to name the saved file with different names to as to not mix them up ... for example ... 1040 wages only, 1040 deductions added, etc.

It is not like the Online version where you log into the same account from anywhere and continue from where you stopped.

Just a note that TT is not licensed for use by paid tax preparers, though.

Yes, you may load the program on more than one computer. There are no restriction on the number of times the CD can be installed or the number of times the program can be downloaded from the store server.

As mentioned, your data will only be on one computer unless you use a flash drive or shared online space (Dropbox, etc.). So be careful that you are working with the correct version if you switch computers.
