How to transfer 2 tax returns from 2015 to 2016

In my downloaded 2016 premier Turbotax, I cannot find but one of the previous year's tax return.  Where is my other filed one?

If it doesn't show up on a list of 2015 tax returns when you start the second 2016 return and you saved the 2015 return as a .tax file on your computer, click on Browse to search your computer.

The 2015 tX files end in .tax2015.  They should be in your Documents then in a Turbo Tax folder.  Or search your computer for all files ending in .tax2015 or .tax.  And check the Recyle Bin.

my tax returns are in Turbotax 2015 and I saved them also on my computer, yet when I opened my new 2016 Turbotax I could only select 1 return to transfer?!

yes I can start a new return, but that is not what I want to do.  I have 2 different tax returns that I did last year, and it let me only transfer one.  Why cannot I see my other tax return to transfer for  2016?

Are you trying to transfer them both into 1 return?  You can only transfer from 1 return.  To transfer another one you have to start a new 2016 return and transfer into that.  So when you start a new return the 2015 file doesn't show up in the box to transfer?  If not, you can browse to where it is.
