How to switch from deluxe to Premier, if have new license code for the premier?

I have bought Deluxe and Premier together.   The deluxe is for my son and the premier is for my tax return.

I installed the Deluxe first on my computer and finished my son's return.

However, I can not switch to the premier version. Even if I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still shows the deluxe version and keeps asking to pay $30 dollar for the upgrade.  I can not find to input new license code that I already bought.

You need to uninstall both programs and then install Premier program. You can have only one TT program installed on a computer at a time.
