How to start a 2025 return for another person

Purchased the Deluxe software, can't install it because I don't have windows 11. Was forced to the online version. Prepared and filed my daughter's taxes, now I see no way to start a new return so I can do my taxes.  WTH?  I tried to create a new account but then it tells me the license code is tied to another account...obvioulsy.

Sorry Online is only good for 1 return per account.  The  Offer to change to Online was only for 1 return.

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:
Logging out if you are in your account
Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return
https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/compare/online

Create your account screen
Set up a new login for the second return
Start working on the new return

 Have you used the Desktop program before?  You probably noticed several other differences with Online.

If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version. It has less features and no Forms Mode. The Online versions don't have all the same forms so you might have to upgrade to a higher Online version. You can only do 1 return per account. Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2025 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done. In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something. You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.

I know this won't help but if you had done your return first with the offer to switch from Desktop, maybe you could have used the Free Edition for your daughter's return.

So, I purchased TurboTax for Personal and Business and because I e-filed one return, that's it? I have to pay another $79 each time I do a tax return?

It's really too bad this wasn't made crystal clear when I filed my first return. I have four more returns to prepare. :(

@SusanMacpherson   Did you use the Online browser version or the Desktop installed program?  The Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 federal for free.
