How to see 1040 before paying tt

My taxable income is less than last year, but my tax is triple. I want to look over the 1040 but I have to commit to file. I don’t want to do that

You don't have to commit  to file it but you do have the pay the fees.  The fees are to prepare the return whether you file or not.

Before filing you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return. You have to pay any fees first before you can see all the forms, etc.
