I and trying to purchase and download TurboTax Premier to my computer. I do not want to start or do my taxes online. My brokerage company gives me TurboTax for free every year and I was have issues getting the link, so they sent me a discount code to enter when I purchase. After finally finding the location that I could purchase, when I get to the submit payment, there is nowhere in the process to enter the code for it to discount the cost. Can anyone help?

It's possible that what your brokerage sent you was a license code, as opposed to a discount code.
A license code is a 16-character combination of letters and numbers in the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format. It verifies your software and allows you to finish installing and begin using TurboTax.
Please see the TurboTax Help article How do I find my license code for TurboTax Desktop? guidance. There is also contact information at the bottom of the article, in case the text doesn't apply to your situation.
Thank you JohnW for the reply. I thought that also but it's a 14 character string. It's a code that if I do my taxes online, when I submit for filing, I have to enter. I called TT help this morning and they said that could only be used for online and not applied to the download. As I need the download, I will have to work it back with my broker.
