How to overcome bootstrapper setup has failed?

Trying to load my 2020 CD and get this error.  I need to ammend 2020 and TT does not know of me using and filing with TT2020.  DIfficult software

this is an operating system issue not so much Turbotax. try to install by running as administrator. next disable your antivirus and again try to install as administrator.

if this doesn't work contact support so they can more fully analyze the issue.

Mike,  I tried everything every which way and can't get TT 2020 to load up properly. 

 I only need to Amend the 2020 return.  Can the 2021 software amend the 2020  ?  If so, I'll get it from Costco and do that.  Funny that TT did not know of me using it in 2020 and efiling last year.

I have not been suscessful talking to a Support Human.  Any suggustions?-PR

You cannot amend a 2020 return in the 2021 version of TurboTax.
