How to include my child's W2 as she is dependent on me and is F1 student and worked on CPT and her own W2

My daughter is on F1 visa but dependent on me. However as part of her CPT she worked part time and earned about $6400 for the entire year. Should I include her in my filing? If yes, how to include as the system asks to select W2 for myself or for my spouse. Your input would be appreciated.

@bethel-3219 , I am not familiar with the on-line version of the product or its screens.

(a) What is your own  tax status -- US Person ( citizen/GreenCard/Resident for Tax purposes(?  If on a work visa , which  ?  Which country are you from ?

(b) Since your  child is on F-1 , she is independent of you   -- her status is probably NRA  ( she is not on dependent visa ).  So she has to file her own return.

(c) Her EAD / CPT  incomes are declared under her  return/status -- 1040-NR generally   ( depending on the exact facts/antecedents --- so please tell ).

You can PM me and we can go into details away from public view  ( just NO PII -- Personally Identifiable Info )

A child's earned income doesn't get entered on their parent's tax return (only investment income up to a certain amount).

You mentioned that your daughter is on a F1 Visa. She will have to file a Form 1040-NR. TurboTax doesn't support Form 1040-NR, but you can visit our partner Sprintax:  Visit the TurboTax/Sprintax site  to file your 1040-NR.
