Importing into TurboTax depends entirely on whether you are using the Desktop version or the Online version.
The Desktop version is the only one that supports a direct "file import" using the .TXF format.
Step 1: Export from Deductible Duck
Step 2: Import into TurboTax
Important: Only "Items" and "Money" donations import this way. Mileage and Stock donations must be entered manually because the old .TXF format doesn't support that data.
TurboTax Online does not support importing .TXF or .CSV files for charitable donations. You have to use the "Summary Method."
Step 1: Get your Summary Report
Step 2: Manual Entry in TurboTax Online
Deductible Duck can export TXF to TT Desktop but this format has significant limitations and you'll still need to review each item and add more info. This functionality breaks e-file for TT Online. See:
