The fix for this issue is expected on February 15, 2024.
The Massachusetts Department of Revenue recently implemented some updates that have affected the forms within TurboTax. Additional time is needed to implement these changes to ensure your return is filed accurately. We anticipate these software updates being available after February 15, 2024. Please log in to your program after this date, and update your software if you are using the desktop product, (for online products, this happens automatically). Proceed through and review your Massachusetts return, and re-transmit your return.
I have the same problem with code MA_PersonalPropRentalIncome_R17_All . I've refiled as instructed 5 times over 7 days and each time, I get a rejected email and am instructed to follow the instructions to file again. I used TurboTax online to file. The last 2 rejects cited a different code: MA_ScheduleY_AGI_Updates Should I continue to try to refile or should I print and file by mail? Any other suggestions?
I am ready to give up. Print and mail hardcopy.

This fix supposed to have happened with the February 8th update. Wondering if TaxAct also has this problem
I filed my MA state return at MassTaxConnect late last week, using the same figures I used when I tried TurboTax and had it rejected 4 times- twice after the last 'fix". I assume that it has been accepted as the message has changed from processing to received.
The same thing happened to me. My MA state return has been rejected 3 times, and I've been on the phone with several agents who went over my return and said it looked fine. I don't have rental property, so I have no idea what this error means. I was also told there was to be a software update on February 8th and to try filing after that, which I did. My return was rejected again. Now they tell me the update will happen on the 15th. Losing my patience!
So, it you submitted your 2023 return through MassTaxConnect and it was rejected, it clearly is a TurboTax only problem. I have used TurboTax for years both free and paid. Hate to leave them and go back to TaxAct. The fix was supposed to be February 8th. Then they move it to February 15th. I don't have much hope for Thursday
I have also used Turbotax- both free and paid for years. The Federal return went thru, but after the rejections- after it was "fixed" I figured it was worth a try to use Mass Tax Connect. It was processing for a couple days and now it just says received, which I assume is accepted. I don't know about changes that MA made, but I do think that it seems to be a TurboTax issue. Hopefully they will get it straight, but I have seen 2 different error codes mentioned, as well as 3 different "fix" dates- one of which has gone by, but I saw the 15th in one post and the 23rd in another... It was worth a shot to try another venue.

should we still wait until tomorrow to file?
We were told after February 15th, so I would expect the 16th as the earliest.
Has anyone had luck with this since the 15th? I only have 1 chance left to resend the efile after calling turbotax and refiling again and again.
Thank you.
Yes - I submitted mine last night and it was approved.
Don't forget to send a payment if you owe. You'll have to re-print your MA tax filing and go to the payment voucher page, and print that out, or pay online at Mass Tax Connect: https://mtc.dor.state.ma.us/mtc/_/#1
Great, thank you so much for the info!
