Hi there, I am a nanny and I am looking for help on how to file taxes. I do not have a w2 and nothing from my employer, so basically filing myself if I can. Any suggestions on how to do that?
Thanks!

We need more information. Do you work as a nanny in the employer's home? Did you earn over $2100 in 2019? If so you are a household employee and the employer should be giving you a W-2. How were you paid?

I was not given a w2 as i stated before, I was given cash weekly. I did earn over 2100 paid under table was seeing if I could file taxes without one w2 or anything from employer since they already filed theres.

Since your employer did not properly issue a W-2 for you and withhold any Social Security or Medicare, it means you pay all of it as self-employment tax.
