Which tax year are you needing to file?
For tax years 2019 thru 2017 you would need to purchase and download one of the TurboTax desktop editions for each tax year needed from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
Prior year tax years can only be printed and mailed, they cannot be e-filed.
For tax year 2020 you can use either the TurboTax online editions or the TurboTax desktop editions.
The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2020 should be available in early December on this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/
The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions for tax year 2020 are available for purchase now on this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
A tax year 2020 tax return can either be e-filed or printed and mailed using TurboTax. Filing of a 2020 tax return is not available until after January 1, 2021. You Must have received ALL of your Forms W-2 and Forms 1099 before the tax return can be filed.
The IRS will Not be accepting any federal tax return until late January. It is advisable that you do Not file the 2020 tax return until mid-February at the earlist.
