You can certainly go through the my info/personal info section at the beginning of TurboTax, and change the status from married filing jointly to married filing separately to see which filing status benefits you most.
There are 2 separate TurboTax fees for filing separately, whereas there is one fee for filing jointly, there may be states to add too.
It is usually better to file jointly.
