How to delete documents from TT online account?

The documents, like W2, that I uploaded while using the online TT version in March 2024 are still in my TT online account. They are located in the "Documents" tab. There is a "Download" button but not a Delete button.

How do I delete these documents?

You can delete these documents but will need to take a few steps to get to this function.

1. Log back into your TurboTax Online account.  
2. Select Documents from the left panel of the program.
3. Then, use the arrow on the main screen to the right of view documents from and select the applicable year.  
4. Once you do that, you should see a list of all the documents saved to your account for that specific year.
5. Select the 3 dots to the right of the applicable file.
6. Select delete to remove this document from your Online account.
