How to correct a refund submission error with bank

I submitted my electronic submission for a refund.  After not receiving my refund I called my bank and discovered that I submitted an incorrect bank account number to IRS.  I've tried calling IRS with no success.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, if your return has already been filed, and it's been accepted by the government, you won't be able to change your direct deposit information.  You'll receive a refund check instead of a direct deposit.
