How long to irs reissue a new check?

i mail back my refund check coz i cant cash or deposit it to my bank account coz it names to me AND my wife. but my wife shes not leaving me here shes leaving out of the country. how long does it takes to process or reissue a new refund check. i send it back for replacement coz i cant deposit or cash because bank wants me and my wife both endorsed the check.
