Go to Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Estimates and Other Taxes Paid > Other Income Taxes > 2024 refund applied to 2025 federal taxes.

To upload a self-prepared 2024 tax return into TurboTax:

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online.
2. Start a new tax return.
3. In the left menu, select Tax Tools > Tools.
4. Choose "Transfer last year's TurboTax return from your computer."
5. Select your saved 2024 tax return file (.tax2024) from your computer.
6. Follow the prompts to upload and transfer your information.
7. Once uploaded, you can continue editing or filing your return in TurboTax.

Make sure your file is saved in the correct TurboTax format (.tax2024).
