You can only do this *ONCE*, so make sure you will "NEVER" have to do it again.
Elect the option to amend your return, and then amend it so that it agrees with the IRS changes. Do not elect the option to e-file it. Select the option to "PRINT AND FILE", then actually print the amended return. It will only print those pages you would actually mail to the IRS. But DO NOT mail it. There's no need since the IRS changed it already, and you agree with the changes. But doing this means that when you start your 2022 tax return next year, the "correct" information will be imported from your 2021 tax return.
You don't need to amend anything ... this will not have anything to do with the info that transfers into the 2022 program (as there will not be a line 30 on the 2022 return) as it doesn't affect anything ... no income, deductions or even the AGI.
