You can’t. Since you told the IRS you will not file a tax return this year, they will not allow you to e-file a tax return as a security precaution. You need to print your return and mail it.
@Opus 17 Can you confirm that the filer does not need to amend their tax return but can just prepare, print and mail a return without amending it? That is how I've been answering but some others are saying the return must be amended.
I don’t know exactly what the non-filer document is that is being sent to the IRS so I don’t know whether it has the force of a tax return and must be amended or not.
