I don't see where #3 is. You said:
3. Scroll down to I'm preparing this return for Taxpayer, who has passed away, click Yes and enter the date she passed away.
Can you help me locate it? I am filing my parent's last tax return for 2023.

You enter all of the information regarding the deceased in the MY Info section (left side of the screen in Tax Home) of the return. On the Personal Information screen scroll down to see information in Exhibit 2.

In many cases you will have to file on paper.
Sign on "Your signature" line with "<your name> as personal representative"
or "<your name> as executor"
whichever applies.
